Character Names

I don't know if any of you reading this like to write, but if you do, I find that we may be able to agree upon something: one of the hardest parts to writing a book is deciding on the names of your characters. In my book that I'm working on, Seven Sanctums: Revolt, I have quite a lot of characters. Last night, I took some time to decide upon the names. Now, keep in mind that this is a sci-fi fantasy novel so the names will not be very 'modern'.

I spent three hours thinking of those. It was one of the single most difficult things I have ever done in my life.

I used to use name generators for my names, but I couldn't seem to like any of the names given, so I would spend an even longer time when I chose names that way.
Something interesting: Muerte translates into 'Death'. Muerte means 'death' in Spanish. Kinda ironic, huh?
